Hero 3 white vs Roam2 vs R7 720p

I know there are a lots of threads on this but with all the new products coming out and the new R7 camera I thought this would be appropriate. I'm looking at the 3 posted in the title. A Gopro and Contour are both $200 but with a mount it would be all about the same price as an R7. Please post up thoughts on what would be the best and videos. What barrel mount would be used for a Gopro? I like the Contour and R7 mounts

The video in my sig was used with a hero2. the hero3 (black edition) is going to be even better. I chose the hero2 over the previous models because it was the only one that allowed me to film with a 90 deg FOV. At the time the R7 and everything else only allowed fish-eye style fovs which make it difficult to see whats going on in the distance. With that said I am not sure the difference between the white and black edition.
