Yeah, getting ready to freeze my *** off. I have to make sure my personal kit, 24 hour pack, and 72 hour pack are all set, as well as my daughter's gear. We go out Friday night as part of the "advance party" to set up for the winter survival exercise, sleep outside, then we're on site all day Saturday training. Might be including a helicopter guide-in this year. Sleep out Saturday night, then pack up Sunday morning and head for home.

Nope, that's a volunteer casualty. I can't remember if he was the guy with the loose hanging eyeball or the rebar stuck in his head.

I was teaching maps, compasses, and pace count that weekend. Probably doing about the same this year.

the people at orileys swore they used the green stuff, so I ended up buying the universal coolant. I know it's not as good, but I didn't want to risk mixing colors.

The stuff in mine was a orange/brownish color. later on when it gets warmer, I'll do a flush and put in the right stuff.

I drove it around for a couple miles and the temp stayed normal and i was also getting hot air through my vents again. I'll have to find out if it freezes again, I used a heavy mix of antifreeze when I put more in. (which wasn't a lot, maybe 1/8 of a gallon)

Yeah I'm really trying to eat better and drop some weight. my appendix blew up two years ago and then 2 weeks after that I was in a really bad car wreck. I couldn't lift anything over 15 pounds forlike six months. developed really bad depression and ptsd (from the bad wreck) and gained like 40 pounds. my goal is to be at 160 by July when I go to Oregon to see my friend.
