I am having issues with a 2k2 LCD screen.
The board is s stock LCD board.

I connected all wiring before installing it into the frame and it would power on with no issues.
Next, I screwed down the micro switch, on/off switch, and solenoid.
I then plugged in the board and LCD screen and turned it on.
Now I get black squares across the LCD screen.
The solenoid still chirps with trigger pulls.

No other screws have been installed yet.
I have tested two other boards. Another stock LCD board and WAS board.
All show the same result.


I am assuming the LCD screen is no longer good but it worked perfectly before starting the build. So I'm lost.

Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.

Are you use the ribbon from the screen is the correct way when plugging it into the board?

That's an issue I've had when the top left grip screw was too long and damaged the ribbon cable. Inspect the cable for visible damage.

Try a new screen... Chances are good you damaged it.

Haven't fiddled with it in a few days. Tried a few minutes ago and the screen works without issues.

However, new question...List of screw sizes for 2k2's and GZ? I found Alias model list, but none other.
