Those will be fine. There isn't nearly enough orange in them to mistake for a hit or referee. for a good looking pair of pants.
EDIT: And forgetting my manners, welcome to the CFOA! Hopefully I'll see you and your squad either at the open practice or at one of the two regional three man events throughout the season. Good luck this season!
On a side note, I saw where usedpaintballstuff said to pm him questions. That's perfectly acceptable, however history shows that if one person asks a question, more will follow. That being said, asking in public where people have the chance to find answers to the same question is never a bad idea!

The purpose of the forum is to be able to ask all the questions u want, after all. Personally, I'd rather see ppl that are prepared at the weekend than ppl asking a million questions trying to figure out what specific one off variance applies or doesnt apply to them.

With little efforts the question can be answered be going over the cfoa rule book..!
That being said posting pics is imo bad, because shading, color, can be misleading and when you make a call over the internet whoever made the call would be held to it, so bringing a back up plan is always a good idea IF you are questioning your own equipment;ie, color, padding, guns colors, paintball colors(lol)and fill color.

No, there is no coaching in CFOA 5 man or 3 man.

Unless something has changed, CFOA has a large body of standing/returning referees, keeping the sidelines pretty full/consistent.
The referee clinic is designed for people to be able to ask questions, though of course with the intention of them becoming certified referees.
Also, getting those questions out of the way before the season starts is better answering them all mid-season, after people are set in their ways or purchase the marker they were considering preseason. Just a consideration.

GRback your correct most of my questions the rules did answer but some i just needed to make sure I understood 100%. I always have a back up idea if need be. I do not hold any of them responsible for the answers they are giving me. They are just trying to help. Which is better then nothing at all.

I was referring to the players, they should feel free to ask questions here to be prepared for the tournaments.
My comments had nothing to do with ref clinic.

Glad that we can help and we appreciate the flexibility with the calls made online. The situation in person is never the same and what one person says may not always line up with what the other person is thinking. Good luck this season and see you in the CFOA soon!

No worries... I hope others did not take it that way. I was actually replying to another poster that was saying dont ask so many questions here, wait for the weekend, which seemed ridiculous, because as a player on a team, or as a team captain you should be as ready as possible for that weekend, save one or two specifics.

So, you play three points no matter what, or do you skip the last one if its mathematically impossible for the trailing team to win/tie?

Pretty much. Win the first two and you shouldn't need a third though it has happened before.

Will you know a head of time of what the field lay out will be? Like a week a head or not til the day off the game?
Also if a team doesn't have a uniform by the first game do they all need to wear the same items like white tshirt? Do they need to have numbers and names? Or we we just rock out t-shirts of all different colors and no numbers?

If the trailing team cant beat us with the three game...I see no point in playing...
What was the point system last year...100 or 60 based?
