Would love if we could get Goldson, I have a feeling we're drafting one if one falls to us at 17. We have nothing behind our 2 starters and they are always hurt.

Or Dan Conner, supposedly cut if he doesn't accept a pay cut.

They were pretty close, though. If Jackson still has fuel in the tank and Tony re-ups for another year (as he should) to go with some new defensive acquisitions, they might have enough to get over the hump. Atlanta is a very legitimate contender.

Im kind of sad to see Alex go. He has 2 of the best years of his career and just happened to have a great QB sitting behind him. I really wanted him to get a ring with the 49ers before he left, but i know its for the best.

Ill be rooting half heartedly for the chiefs next year. i really hope Alex has a good season.
