Yeah crazy to him to get number one receiver money. He is so one dimensional. He's extremely good at that one thing, but good defenses know he is going to run 5 yards than go right or left. They can press cover him because he wont go deep. If he does run a deep pattern, he will be wide open which evidences the fact that no defense ever thinks he will go deep, but then he will drop the ball half the time. It seems like he is not good at stretching out and making a catch away from his body, which is almost always required on a deep ball, especially when you're 5'9''. Hard to drop a ball over a defender right into your chest every time. If they can afford to franchise him for 11 mil, they can afford Percy Harvin. Make it happen.

I did think he was a free agent. My bad. Anyway, he would be perfect. If they can't get him, maybe there is a similar player they could go after. Someone who can run short routes but also has the ability to occasionally go down the field and make plays. He doesn't have to make a career on the deep ball as long as he has that in his repertoire that the defense has to respect.
I haven't quite gotten over the loss and into free agency mode yet, so I don't know who is available. I thought there was some talk earlier in the year that Harvin would be available, I must have misunderstood.

I mean we might (read: should) trade him, but he isn't going to be cheap.

Well we wouldn't sell him... I mean if you want him next year you are forking over draft picks and someone like Mallet.

i want dwayne bowe or mike wallace, personally. wallace will get resigned and i dont think the browns will even pursue bowe.
edit: i also want mallett. pete, call billy and tell him to hand the ry guy over.

Vareen is not a WR. He's a fast HB. Houston is just retarded and put Bradie James on the flank trying to cover him. Not hard for Vareen to run by him.
I'd give you Mallett for Percy. We probably have extra draft picks lying around too. Though we are a well run organization, don't expect us to go full Falcons.

Lol Percy doesn't have an injury problem. Not as bad as you think, obviously. He went on IR because he's a little **** bag and checked out for the season (before our playoff run) not because he sprained his ankle. And he unjustlygot the injury tag his ffirst few years despite missing only a few games. However he doesn't like being the number 2 star on the team and despite what Vikings fans said at the beginning of the year, he is not close to Adrian Peterson

toby gerhart doesn't like being the number 2 running back much either. seriously, get rid of him he is just rotting there. he certainly has a lot more value to another team than what the vikings are using him for

Toby is a number 2 though, and he isn't an insufferable piece of **** about it. I like Percy a lot as a player but his attitude is no secret.
