The old Militia lube and the new aren't comparable. They're way different
I'm amazed you've never had a problem with Dow33 being in Washington. I can't use it in cold weather living in NC...
I like to use thin stuff. Less fsdo, better consistency (because it has less stiction). Better performance overall. Dow being thick has greater friction, and the gun has to overcome more stiction leading to fsdo and inconsistency
The new MacDev lube is the jam. Best stuff I've used on a spool in my experience and my experiences predate spool valves entirely
