The etek is a fine gun but is way too loud for me. I'd choose the axe with a boss bolt because it is smooth, quiet and an enclosed bolt design.

Both great guns, but in the end, axe beats the etek performance wise. But try out both guns, see what feels best in your hands.

I had an Etek3 and liked it, but now have an Axe and love it. With the right upgrades they can be very effiecent on air and just as smooth as any other gun out there. They are easy to maintain, come with one of the best warranties and overall they perform as well or better then anything else in it's price range. The hardest thing to overcome (for me) was the trigger frame, it's not a 45 grip design like others but after playing with it for a month, it was easy to get used to.

thanks,

you all helped me make my decision, the axe. All the reviews ive looked at say its better than the etek, more efficient, and quieter. Im gonna get a new barrel and the boss bolt for it
