I just picked up the timmy above.

Now it has a delrin lpr piston and eigenram...
I know how to check the lpr velocity by the ashcroft gauge, but how do I check the hpr velocity?

Also, what would be yall's opinion on a better regulator (i dont like the grip with the torpedo's macroline attachment), what is a good replacement gauge for the ashcroft (smaller one), and how do I replace the lcd screen on the stock board is the lcd went out?

You don't check the Lpr velocity, you check it's pressure (psi). Same goes with the hpr...

You would need to install a gauge on the hpr to check the pressure.

360 regs are nice, and just get a smaller version of Ashcroft gauge.

You can't replace just the LCD, you would have to get a all new board.

If you have to ask how to replace the LCD I'd be willing to bet you don't have the tools or skills required to do it. Such is the case for over 95% of people which is why your gun came with a different board.

well i havent received the gun yet, I am asking the questions before I receive it so that way I can do what I need asap. And yes I apologize I meant pressure. Been a long day :/ and god I appreciate the input, I was hoping I would be able to fix it because it seems terrible to throw away a perfectly functioning board.

I've been looking for a supply of replacement screens in hopes of providing a replacement service but haven't been able to find any. The screen is usually the first thing to get broken on those boards.

I've looked numerous times on multiple sites, it's possible that they're no longer being produced with as old as these boards are. I've been looking for an OLED screen for the first version of the Yakuza boards for over a year. Will at Tadao informed me they've been out of production for a while and those boards aren't that old.

^^^ what gamer565 said about the HPR.. there's a gauge port so you can easily adjust the PSI output..


Or, you could just pick up an ASA.. prefereable CP... plug one side and put a gauge on the other, pull off the HPR and put it on the ASA and set your PSI to 200 or so... slap it back on and adjust from there.. old style.. i know lol


I'd say put a gauge on it and have less worries what PSI you're putting out
