rudz to much sodium will obviously make you retain water but unless your getting ready for a comp I dont think thats a huge deal. If your weight lifting some sodium isnt that bad. It helps your muscles response to insulin and it also improves your bodys absorption of aminos. To little sodium you lose muscle endurance and energy, strength and its one of the main causes of dehydration and low blood volume. If your lifting add a few pickles a day into your diet and see if that helps you in the gym. Dont worry about the number on the scale as much as how you feel.
