Exclamation MQ2 Valve?!?!

I have an MQ2 valve that I got a while back in a trade and I just found out what it was. It's never been used. Other than that I don't have the slightest clue about it. Anybody know what its worth?

I got an Ans invoice with it saying it was a MQ2 Valve with a price of $120. Thanks so much guys for the input! I saw a couple of these going for $250-$300 but I thought that was pretty ridiculous. So I thought I'd get some input from the great people of nation

So, anyone interested in the MQ2? I'd really like to sell, trade, etc. Cuz I can't do anything with it.

It's a first gen MQ, or MQ1. around $100 is about right.

MQ2s fixed a couple of minor issues and made them a bit more reliable, those are in the $200 range.

Ok I do agree with the fully enclosed part because while I've been noticing that some mq valves were enclosed so I didn't know if I was missing a piece or not. So let me find that invoice and make sure its an mq2. I was fairly confident that's what it said. Let check tho.

Looks like a mq to me.

What Type of Valve Do I Have and Where Can I Find Troubleshooting and Technical Information?

I now have two separate pages for the mQ and MQ2 valves. These pages are largely duplicates, with certain wording and details changed to reflect the different valves.

PBX mQ-Valve - Identified by either blue or silver aluminum parts, with an exposed silver colored solenoid in the pilot, and an o-ring on the front of the poppet.

MTX Designs MQ2-Valve - Identified by red aluminum parts, a totally enclosed pilot assembly, and a urethane disk on the front of the poppet.

If your invoice says MQ2, ANS lied to you lol.
That is a brass valve MQ1, which IMO is much nicer than the aluminum valve ones and WAY nicer than the silver ones.

If you're sure it works, it will fetch more money then listing it AS-IS. These can be very finicky and break often if not taken care of.

I searched all over for the invoice and guess what? I couldn't find it. From your comments and research I've been doing its definitely MQ so I guess ANS screwed up? It wouldn't be the first time

Honestly, I don't think its ever been used. I don't think the previous owner could figure out how to get it into his gun. So I'm guessing he just said screw it and left it.
