What do I have here and what is it worth??
A friend had gotten this in an auction from his high school (Dayspring) and never really new a whole lot about it but did know it was an autococker. He said it shoots like a dream when tuned correctly. The only problem with it is the regulator seems to be bad. He was also offered 250 for it. It has an EBlade 2 grip in it. I am not too familiar with these guns as I would like to be but thats why im here
So, what do I have here? What is it worth? Is it hard to repair said problem? Would it be worth getting a new regulator? Any and all info would be appreciated!
Here are the pics:

The body looks like just a standard 2k2 center feed that's been halfblocked to me. Generally not worth much in my opinion. All the value is in the e2 frame cause the pneumatics are nothing special either.
$250 is a really good price though I would have sold it at that right away lol.
The reg probably just needs to be relubed and maybe new o-rings. If nothing else though it would be easiest to just slap a new reg on it. You can get a CP for like $40 I bet

not sure on the body, it does look like a basic 2k thats been halfblocked but its also got a 2k5 front block on it which would require some milling, plus the name on the front..was it his teams name or something? looks like a custom beavertail too.
aside from that i see the e2 frame, evil detonator ram, looks like a stock wgp lpr, and maybe a moody or freeflow ram. it probably does shoot really nice.
those regs are supposed to be pretty good from what i hear, and dirt cheap. probably just needs a rebuild but i bet you could find another for less than $20. azodin makes one for $40 new too.

So would rebuilding the reg make it worth more? I can do that fairly easy. And as far as the name, it was his schools name, Im not sure if they had a team or not.

Yeah sadly I'm not sure why that's the case wgp regs weren't that great

thats an evil detonator reg. i see in my last post i accidentally typed "ram" lol.
and yes rebuilding it would make it worth more..since a working gun is better than a not working one.
wgp regs are pretty solid. the old ones are just a pain to adjust.

How hard are they to rebuild? what parts do I need? If I rebuilt it, what could I get for it?

This is not a 2k this is most likely a rare gun everyone should take a closer look at the side that is drilled if it was a 2k it would have the groove where cocking rod goes on both sides also look at the way it is half locked which means its most likely a factory halfblock

Looks a lot like either an older pre-2k body that was drilled out to 2k+ spec, or more likely, a halfblocked CCM SS-25.
I have a snatch grip just like that one, and I was told it was made by Turtle Industries, so it's entirely likely that someone sent their SS-25 to Turtle to be halfblocked.

Larger Banjo bolt, full round lower tube. 2k+
NOT all 2k+ had the groove on both sides. The CCM guns did not, as well as a few other PL bodies.
Im right down the 'street' from you if you wanted a local cocker guy to take a look at it.

if wanting to sell it for most profit. sell the e2 kit seperate. should be able to get 2-250 on ebay for it. Then sell lpr and ram together for like 45-50. Reg you could get probably 15-20 for and then sell body for 75-100

I woulda taken the $250 for it. Its a nice halfblock but the pressed feed neck kills it for me as a buyer.

Looks to be threaded, based on the first picture. I could be wrong, though.
