I've done about 12 of these mods. Very easy to use. Psp compatible. Eye ports ready to go.

For the cost of the boards/mounts and wiring, its not worth hunting down battery packs and chargers and there is never the "oh sh*t" moment when you are getting ready to play and realize you did not charge your angel 9v wins!

For the LED, the Universal T Board is a good option since it is quite a bit smaller.

Along the PMR board topic, anyone know if the internal dimensions are the same between an IR3 frame and an A4 frame? Asking for the sake of getting a mount.
And LCD screen aside, any disadvantage to going with the Virtue board over a stock A4 board?

The hole spacing for the board mounting screws from the IR3 to the G7 is the same.
No disadvantage to the Virtue besides the screen and optical trigger, if those are important to you. It's a tradeoff since the Virtue provides you with modern tournament compatible modes you can't get on the stock board.

I had to cut a bit off of the top of the board to make the buttons align with my A4 frame. Not much, just about 1/16" to make it fit. Wasn't a big issue at all.

Yeah--all the pmr virtue boards need a trim. The grip won't lay down right without it
