Unfortunately no sun on the valve cover, these things sparkle in the sun and look amazing, guy said hed do my shift knob and the top of my apexi BOV for free.
I'll clean the bay up once i get my radiator put back in, crank pulley already swapped on. Just gotta do belts and rad/bleed and im back on the road.

I would do all the letters. It looks more uniform imho

Is this a 704 casting number on the case? There have been numerous identical failures on the 704 cases. I believe there is a minor flaw in the casting that causes a weak spot in exactly that location.

I just finished doing all the filling of the shrouds last night. I need to sand everything, paint and reassemble everything. I should be able to knock it all out tomorrow during the day. The lenses turned out perfect. I picked out a really dark gray metallic for paint. Should look pretty good with your Advans.
You should be able to stop by early Sunday to pick them up

The 704's did have problems. Something with the liner design versus the 702's. But I'm not sure if this was a 704. Even it it was a 702, full WG pressure with no tune could potentially crack the cylinder wall just as badly

This is the sole reason I went with a Cosworth short block but obviously look where that has gotten me

I need to figure out what I'm going to do for fuel. I was going to buy those rails and 1600cc injectors but the rails are ugly and injectors need a resistor box. I think I'm going to go with IAGs rails and ID 2000s. I have a 260lph pump now, which I'll probably feed a surge with a single 044 to feed the injectors.
