Yeah, see the bmw thread for the breakdown, short story is I clipped the back of a geo tracker, caught the tow hook right into the right front corner, and "totaled" it out in a 3mph fender bender.

Nice I picked up a set of 17x8 hyper black G-forces as my winter wheels not too long ago. They look purty

That sucks mag. At least you didn't have to downgrade. STIs are fun
Are the fenders rolled on your STI? I want 17x9 torques, but the only come in a +30. I don't want to do much fender work so I'm staying with grids in +42.

According to the PO the rears are rolled, but may rub over bigger bumps. We shall see!

I had my rears rolled with a slight pull. The GRs are great for running a wide tire besides the rears. If I go any lower I'll have to do all 4 corners. I'm on tanabe DF210s with 18x9.5 +30s

Rub your finger along the rear fenders and see. I'd like to get a tiny bit more poke than the +42 offers.

So long story short, my dads sketchy 15year old jack finally caught up to me after bleeding the coolant system, last thing i had to do before putting my car back on the road. Car slipped off, crank pulley dented, rad cowel part pushed up (hammered back, seems okay) radiator ****ed.
I've never thrown such a rage fit before, broke my knuckle.
Got the crank pulley off my other engine in the garage, which came off using 2 pry bars, however in car i have to use a crank pulley puller. So i gotta swap that ****, new belts, bleed system again and pray to god nothing internally was damaged.

All of my trips (TDYs) got canceled for the whole ****ing year.
All of those trips were individual chances to get one step ahead of my peers, one step more useful, one step closer to being a better airman. Each was essentially a gift from my senior leadership, each meant the world to me. Now they are all gone. I worked countless hours, through many many days off, just for this. Now it's gone

Need tags, but drove it around the neighborhood anyways. Car is so rigid it blows my mind, great fun even though it is a little under powered.
Hows the saabaru hangin?

**** man. Sucks to hear. Any particular reason or did it just happen?
Go for a damn drive and forget about it. A nice cigar and a glass of something nice helps cheer anything up.

Not too bad. First time driving it in a month. New rad seems to be perfect. Still have a few suspension issues to fix and OReilly is covering all expenses to give me the proper axles. Need a new fuse for my flickering headlights and all will be good.
Still planning on hopping into something making 300whp or so, 02-05 WRX probably, in the next few months. I'd like to be able to afford an STi but I will have issues doing so unless I can give someone to under the table "loan" me a few grand as a better down payment.

Not "leave it". Just get me something new. My birthday is March 29th and my brothers is on March 3rd. He turns 16. I want to get a car sometime around then so we both get birthday present cars.
The Saab has more issues than I feel like dealing with. If/when he gets it, his focus will be on audio/interior/exterior and not on making it go fast, except for Stage 2 at some point.

Oh it's fine. That's worth *****ing about IMO. At least you're alive, though.
Hey, whatever happened to your hearing loss thing?

Yeah, and I'm glad to have a good job too.
It's still rocky, but I haven't been back to audiology for a while.

Ahh I gotcha. Hopefully that ends well. I remember you saying there's a chance it doesn't happen.
You'll be alright dude. As you said, at least you have a good job, a house, and a nice car.
