Number of teams registered last year: http://blitzpaintball.net/tournament...ent-standings/
5-mans saw on average 5-8 teams IIRC. 3-mans saw on average 8-15 teams IIRC.

Last Year, In the Novice division there was 10-16 teams depending on the event. Followed closely by Rookie @8-14 and then Open had 6-10 but mostly stayed 6-8. We were running 20 teams at the low end to 36 teams at the high end.
The events will likely be larger this year due to the new field with one of the finest tourney zones anywhere. Also we have a new more inclusive format. I have already been contacted by several new local teams forming up, Also several out of State teams as well.
Not to mention, with the NPPL coming to town, many teams will form up and play as practice for the NPPL.
Looks like a epic season!!

In Novice the first 5 man had to be moved due to weather, and we ended up with only 7. the others had 10.

Most likely begening of March, weather permitting. Also early in the season we only inflate the bunkers when the temp rises past 45 degrees. This helps keep the bunkers undamaged.

Please note this rule correction, it is posted on the Blitz site as well.
4 game suspensions with no substitutions plus loss of point, point will be awarded to opposing team.
Any gun marked Semi Auto, shooting 15 BPS that is ramping,
Any marker ramping over 12 BPS as well as Semi shooting over 15 BP.
2 game suspension with no substitutions for Shooting 15 BPS Semi without marked gun.

I try to have at least one field open in the first halph of March. But it is compleatly weather dependent. Even if the field is ready, we only allow play if it is above 45 ° or it damages the bunkers.
At this time, we will try to open at least 1 airball field Sunday, March 3 rd at Noon.
