Seriously, how can you not remember this? Unless you are deliberately not looking to be informed.
How does that show it's not a possiblity to be concerned about? I clearly proved it was, at it almost happened in Germany.

Oh yeah? Oh ok, using your own logic, we should ban alcohol - right? Yes or no?

It's a serious question.

They can put a lien on your house, and eventually evict you from it. It was on the news recently down here. I don't know how you can bee held to a contract you never agreed to...

I believe there is some sort of restriction on paintball markers here in Philadelphia. Not sure whether it is possession or just discharging though.

As for universities, if it is private, they can do whatever they want (ie. Drexel dismantling our team due to the club inheriantly violating the weapons policy).

Pretty sure you have the sign an agreement with the HOA in order to buy/rent a house/apartment in the respective community.

No, you don't. Lived in one for 2 years as a renter.

United Kingdom, Germany, and New Zealand all have some rather serious restrictions.

In Tansania, Australia, it is banned and has been since the 1996 Port Aurthur Massacre.

I was advised however by the Wright county sherif to not discharge my markers in my yard until I check city laws, which do prohibit me from doing so based on zoning.

Lol... I remember watching this on Nightline when it first aired. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=N5ZoDNQv1Hs#!

If Adam Lanza played paintball instead of video games, I'm sure paintball would be part of the discussion.

I would imagine a lot of cities won't allow them to be discharged in city limits.
They cited sports authority in NY for selling pb markers that looked real. dunno what happened there.

It's all small stuff but that's just how the gun bans are starting(local governments) not necissarily small (NY).

Notice that this was in response to paintball vandalism, i.e. directly addressing the devices used. As opposed to firearm murders.

Having started in paintball when we had to fight the survivalist image, this doesn't bother me. In fact I think the industry as a whole is going down the wrong path with milsim and it could be a rude wake up call at some point.

Capitalizing on the popularity of war sucks anyway.

oh well..if everyone knows about it then it must be ok.

I have been playing paintball for a long *** time. just grew up in wyoming so I didn't have to worry about asinine laws across the country. thanks for fighting the good fight!

was just pointing out a ban is a ban and it has happened. Do I think it will happen on a large scale? no. could it? sure. It has happened on large scales other places. mostly I was just posting sources. someone asked where and someone else said they couldn't find it. wouldn't want to be "deliberatly not looking to be informed"...

There are many in the media who have perpetuated the lie that paintball trains young Pete for combat and killing. Just like video games.

I'm all for combat-as-sport and the media can go **** itself and all, but isn't this statement a little disengenious when some of the milsim market is literally dual marketing its stuff to the military to help train young Pete for combat and killing?
