Truth. I wear a Nike Combat ventilated 1st layer under my jersey (unpadded), and Nike cleats. Both perform really well. |

It happens. Sometimes another player will grab it off of your marker in the pits if you literally look away for 14 seconds (Happened to me while I was filling a pod).

The more I think about this, the more I want one. Or more. They're not overpriced by any means, and they look far more solid than the usual bags we've used for this purpose. Anything that improves safety is a great thing for me.  |

I dont have any problem spending a few more bucks for a product that works better. I almost never lose my barrel bag but they do tear on occasion from use so if it holds up better than others it is worth it.

why dont they make a barrel condom that breaks the paint, then vents the ball and paint (to an extent) so swabbing your barrel wouldnt be necessary after shooting a few balls into it? I believe thatd be more useful... especially when it happens 5 seconds prior to your point beginning...

I think because it'd be hard to do that and guarantee safety. If the bottom is open at all a small piece of shell might make it out at a high enough velocity to injure someone if it hits them in the eye.
Think of the swabbing as your punishment for being unsafe and/or not being able to properly pull the condom off.
