Mokal Aura?

How much would 2 Mokal Auras be worth? Are they reliable?
Anyone have a review on it?

Value: depends on year, and if used
Marker: it's a light little marker feels good in the hands, gets good efficiency, no macro line (plus in my book), not really "mainstream" and I like that.
BUY!: if you are thinking of getting one get it the go for pretty cheap used and are great markers.

had one, it was good when it worked, but some days would just chop balls all day, couldn't figure out the cause, might have just mine

NONONONONONONONONONONO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Do NOT buy a Mokal Aura! There is ZERO reason to buy one when you can get the Proton which is much better!

(Unless you're talking about the stacked tube poppet one, then meh. Skip it completely.)

Not to sound ignorant... But after looking at the user manual of the Aura... What's the difference between it and a Spyder with an e-trigger?

Auras and Protons are exactly the same, just different milling.

spyders use springs to push the hammer & bolt forward which are in turn held in place by a sear. the clapper in a spyder is used to trip the sear. the bolt in an aura is pushed forward & backwards by air only. the clapper in an aura is used to hit a small valve which releases air.

not exactly exactly. very close though. proton has a different trigger, back cap, feedneck & milling. if they were the same price i'd get a proton. i bought my aura because it was dirt cheap. seems to be a great little gun so far.

The copy of the Aura manual I downloaded shows the valve being actuated by a hammer, tensioned by a spring (pg38, breakdown. item 15), with a bolt attached through the top by a pin, and looks all activated by a solenoid triggering a sear (pg38, breakdown. Item 37). Much like the 2012 Spyder Fenix, and plenty of other Spyders before it. Unless this is a way outdated manual.
And the Proton is a spoolie (from what their manual portrays)... Not much like the Aura from the manual I'm looking at.
Ahhh. Never mind... Apparently Mokal DID make a blow back marker called the Aura. And NOW their Spoolie is now also called the Aura. Because they couldn't apparently come up with a different name for their new gun LOL. Okay, that explains alot and ends my confusion totally.
If you're between the Mokal Aura and the Valken Proton... Buy the Aura... It's made in Canada.

There are two different Mokal Auras. The older one is a stacked tube, the newer one is a spool.

Yeah caught that a bit late. Seems like there are other things they could have called their new gun other than the same name as their old gun. But hey... It's a Canadian product, so I'm sure it's built well Take the Aura over the Proton if that's your choices.

And a different board and a different trigger and different grips and a different feedneck and a different back cap. There is still ZERO reason to buy a regular Aura (unless it's under $150) when you could get the Proton.

Truth! I paid 200 for my used proton. Plenty of used ones in that price range.
