they're 500 ml bottles and five bucks a pop. shipping would be 30ish and i can also add in some other west coast stuff that might tickle your fancy, so to speak. salvation is available too
Bought a case of Pliny and a ton of other beer, speak now Kyle or wait for the next visit. I'll give better notice though.

Ugh, I should pass this time. I will catch hell if my gf finds out I have more people shipping me beer this month.
I'm thinking about taking a trip to SF when I am out in Cali for a wedding this year, since I have never been there. RR is only an hour north, soooo I think I can squeeze that in.

Russian River, Lagunitas and Bear Republic are all along the 101 and not too far from each other. If you're in SF there are definitely some spots you should try to hit up like Toronado, Beer Revolution and others. Anchor's supposed to be pretty sweet but I've yet to go there.
I ship discreetly if that helps any

Popped a homebrewed IPA that's more of a hoppy Red. Smells and tastes fantastic, hopped it with Centennial, and Columbus, and then dryhopped with Columbus and Citra. Deffinitely gonna remake this one, just gotta dial the Caramel malt back a bit and maybe add a bit of sugar to help dry it out.

Nice, I'm on the third or fourth revision of my Ipa, I definitely suggest using table sugar to dry it out. I'm also using those three hops plus chinook, but the exact order and proportions Are going to remain my little secret for now

As much as I want delicious beer, I think my wasteful spending on Westy 12 took the majority of my fun budget for this month.
Now that I am un-sick, I am looking forward to actually trying it.

Well, I'll be staying out of the marriage nonsense. I did enjoy a Hoppin' Frog Silk Porter tonight; pretty complex malt flavors and nice coffee/chocolate notes.

Hello all beer enthusiast out there! I used to be all Miller Light and Bush Light only until I tried Magic Hat #9 last year. Dropped Miller (unless at a party or tailgate, if I want more than 6... Other than that they can keep it) for Magic Hat. I've come to enjoy the taste of IPA and pale ales.
Since moving to a new house in VA there is a local wine/beer store near my house where I stop by and try a new six or four pack if IPA. Almost half way done trying them all!!!! (my #1 choice is shown below)
Damn I love a good IPA!!! Why did I wait so long???

NOW WAVE GOODBYE to all your monies.
Fantastic news was delivered to me VIA facebook. The most epic beer festival of all time, The Festival, will be returning this year on June 21 and 22. Although I will have to make the 5 hour drive to portland, ME, I will most definitely be attending.

Hahahaha yeah tell me about it! That's why I buy one six pack a week. No worse than drinking 4 beers at the bar. Anyone have any good ideas of IPA's I should try?

you can probably find Stone IPA near you.
And if you can find Dog Fish Head, there 90 min IPA is one of the best IMO. Think it's technically a double, but it's good.
If you're near VA beach, check out beach brewing co.'s Hoptopus

Picked up a Widmers "Russian Raspberry" Imperial Stout 2012 and a fresh six pack of Nugget Nectar at the grocery store. Sadly no Hopslam (yet). Not sure if we'll get it at all but I have my eyes peeled.

Yeah Stone was going to be the next one I pick up... Heard great things! 90 min is one of my favorites, really want to try 120. Hoptopus... Sounds like I've had them before, what IPA do they have?

the brewery is "beach brewing" their double IPA is named Hoptopus. I had once on a trip to VA beach.....wish I could have more.
Tonight FINALLY got my B-IPA into secondary with centennial dry hopping. Sampling a glass now. VERY malty, I'm liking it, and sure it'll get better. After this I have an Arrogant Bastard, and Stone Smoked Porter. The wife suprised me with those two!

post up your thoughts on the Raspberry Imperial Stout. I had it but I want to see what somebody else thinks of it.
