So I was shooting my AKP 2011 today and had some issues. I was running Co2 indoors. I have shot less then 500 balls through this marker..

The reg holds air and the marker fires. But it vents air out of the bleed hole the whole time. Whats up>

I would assume a bad oring. Take apart the reg and check for any broken or damaged orings.

Yea, actually the vid told me exactly which one. I'm just really shocked that Oring went bad so fast. Less then half a case through the marker and an Oring built to last blows out?

I love this marker, and am a bit of an Azodin fanboy, but if this happens again after I fix it i'm going to need a new regulator.

Basically I need a rebuild kit for the reg. which considering the 500paintballs that have been through it, that's kinda sad.

I like to be able to use Co2 at fields that don't offer HPA so I think Ima grab a Palmer's Regulator to swap out the stock which claims to handle Co2 well but seemingly does not.

co2 messes up orings bad. Always use hpa if you have a choice.

It does, but typically markers intended to be used with it are set up with components that tolerate it. The marker does, the reg does not.

Palmers regs handle co2 wonderfully, swapping the stock for a palmers would allow one to run co2 without a remove. An anti-siphon still helps of course. But the palmers do quite well on Co2.

I'm just pissed there is no rebuild for the regulator included with the marker. Silly.

I mean, yea no question. I have 2 CF wrapped HPA tanks and a lil Ninja 13ci for my pump, and only one little co2 tank. But the local field up here doesn't do HPA fills...soo that choice is outta my hands.

Our awesome local Azodin Tech is sending me a reg rebuild kit free of charge. Apparently it's included in the newer kits but was not at the time.

He also said that while the markers happy to eat co2, a Palmers reg would be a much better idea then stock regulator if I didn't want to spend so much time swapping the orings. So the stock reg is solid for HPA but if you wanna run Co2 Palmers/Punishers/AKA prolly wins.
