How I Met Your Mother renewed for 9th season
From what I've been reading, the cast is pretty pissed off about this.
This saddens me because I just feel like this is going to be a repeat of the abomination of a ninth season that Scrubs had.
Anyway, I am enjoying season 8.

We are in the 8th season, they have renewed the series and signed the cast on for a ninth season and that is what they are referring to.

Initially I enjoyed this show alot more than big bang theory, but as I followed this and only catched an ep here and there of bigbang the opinion reversed.
After the new years episode in the limo I haven't been able to enjoy how I met your mother.

I know exactly how you feel, this season does feel like its dragging. You can tell they are reaching for content and its really obvious why the cast and writers had originally planned on season 8 being the final season.

Its getting decent ratings, so CBS pushed for more. Big Bang Theory really died for me. Their treatment of the characters changed I feel the show has gone beyond its time.
I think Cobie Smoulders is damn fine, but Robin is quite the whore.

She was definitely not what I was expecting. Then again after spending 8 years waiting for this moment, I'm not sure if anyone could have met my expectations.
