Pretty much this. Also, I could be mistaken as I don't feel like looking up points totals, but I don't think you can be bumped to D3 without playing a D3 event. Could be wrong though so if someone looks, feel free to correct me.

all I found on APPA is this:
A player starts the season in the highest class in which their Classification Rating exceeds the point threshold for that class in the "Start of Season" table.
read this and Im hoping Im misunderstanding it:
You may be promoted to a higher division at any time during the season, or at the end of a season. The number of points needed to be promoted at the end of a season are lower than the number of points needed during a season.
based on this...if you start the season as a D4 and win 3 tourneys in D4 with 10+ teams you will have 600 points...thus you are D3...hope Im totally misunderstanding that..

I believe thats about correct. The reason they are doing that is if you are winning in a division, they want you to move up (makes more since for national not regional). If there was a series prize though I am sure the cfoa would not kick you out of your division purely for winning. But at the end of the year you must move up. If you are a top team in your division throughout a year, you should move up either way.

Contacted Chris...this was his reply...IF anyone is interested..lol
If you're playing D4, you can't get bumped to D3 until the end of the season.
If you play D3, however, then getting bumped to D3 mid-season is possible.
- Chris
Which means if you are D4 and play D3 event you can get bumped mid season to D3

No! It won't work that way. You must exceed the points threshold. Otherwise, ECE would have classed up to D3 in the first three events of the season. Mind you, this is my opinion and may not be how the system is actually set up!
Edit: typo... -.-

That was posted while I was typing and I didn't see his post until after. I was too lazy to go back and alter my post so for those who care, please feel free to disregard mine.
And yes, I realize the time difference there. I was flipping back and forth to my laptop between games of Call of Duty. XD

Do we need to register as a team on appa or just show up if our team is on the list you have already? And APPA has the price as $85 I thought it was $75 for the day.
