Vicious shooting Axe new season

Private label Axes coming next season for Vicious

Everybody talking a bunch of crap about them extending their sponsorship with Empire.

Why so much hate?

Because PE fanboys are butt-hurt that a pro team doesn't want to shoot their piece of **** plastic tank cannons anymore.

I think it has more to do with the fact that PE has been the gun sponsor for Vicious for the last 5-6 years, it just caught alot of us off guard.

My team is sponsored by Eclipse so that's what we shoot at tournaments but I also prefer them over any brand either way for my own personal reasons, im no fan boy by any means. I'm more of a gun whore lol

Onto the subject though, I think the Axe is a very solid gun and honestly I feel they are the best bang for your buck. I own 2 of them and they shoot great but I just can't shoot them at tournaments.
I don't look at this as a step backwards for Vicious by any means, I am a strong supporter of them and I could care less what brand of gun they shoot.

Are you sure you on the right forum? That is a very mature point of view.

Its like any sport fellas, you have your hardcore people that will only root for one team or company. I don't think negatively about those folks cause they are entitled to their opinion but some just have to argue no matter what. I just want the sport to grow so I really don't care what brand of marker you choose to shoot.

The Axe is certainly one of the best values out there. It's a great shooter - certainly not a downgrade for Vicious.

The ONLY thing the Axe can use to improve would be some improved ergonomics - I'm not a fan of how the Relay seat up to the grip frame, unless it's got an Axetenze on there... that's just me though.

Why do you always bash on Planet Eclipse? You are just as bad as their 'fan boys' that think their guns are the holy grail.

It's also important to remember that Empire supposedly has the Impulse and Vanquish in the works. They might be shooting the Axe in 2013, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of them eventually shooting one of Empires new markers. They might even make a Vicious version of one of those guns. In any case, I hope their PL Axe actually has some milling differences instead of just a fancy ano.

This. Maybe Empire doesnt feel comfortable letting them shoot the new gun they are releasing. Maybe they havent quite mastered its reliability.

Anywho, it will be nice seeing two teams shooting Axes.

I think it is probably that they just want a great team out there representing the Axe. Vicious will do that very nicely.

Is Infamous or XSV not shooting the Axe anymore? I thought Vicious would be their 3rd pro team repp'in the Axe. I don't follow that stuff too closely so I'm probably wrong.

Boss - Do you think Empire will have their pro teams continue to exclusively shoot the Axe after they release their new markers?

Nobody counts NPPL Pro teams as "pro". XSV got handled at 'Cup... maybe they should stay over there

I didn't know the quality of team was that drastically different between the two leagues.

Maybe there's not that big of a difference...

All I know is I watched Vicious beat XSV 7-1 at Cup... and they ended up in 8th place overall for the 2012 PSP season

Economics may also be at play here. As the economy worsens, people may be buying less expensive guns and thus, the Axe sales go & egos go down. The Empire can offer more money/equipment etc. to teams.

Vicious got a sweeter offer from Empire.

I'm not all that excited to see their private label Axe, unless it is something like the Dark Axe Pro will all that awesome milling.
If I remember right the Infamous Axe and XSV Axe just had some fancy team graphics on them, but it just didn't come off as private label enough. That Dark Axe though... gooooood laawwwddd
