We have a great series, format and venues just play it and enjoy it.
Personal thoughts. PsP Pump > NPPL Pump for sure.
The coaching is just a part of PSP.
As a snake player I didn't feel coaching was a disadvantage in the least. We didn't have a coach most of the time so, maybe that was it? The best we had were friendly faces from our home field if, and when they weren't playing..
I might be alone in this and that's ok but I like the crowd participation coaching brings. Half the time its just some stranger yelling random codes they use... Pretty sure in the middle of one game I had a rage fit trying to listen to them all and just told them all to shut up and have one person say something cause I couldn't concentrate... . lol.
Even without an actual "coach" I still did not feel like I had a disadvantage. I still had my handy dandy team mates yelling their heads off.. If anything it made the job a bit mindless when there was someone over there.
Friends off field - Friends on the field - @ 10 seconds you become Nameless, Faceless and my Enemy.
I played pump at NPPL Vegas 2012 and I gotta say that it was kind of a cluster. It was almost as if the division was an afterthought, with no staging area ready ready for our team, poor scheduling and ripping us around, and a whole lot of attitude. For these reasons, we are gonna try and make it to a PSP event this year for the pump division. It's a little bit further for our team, but we are hoping they hold event 2 in Phoenix because that would be doable for us. Thanks a million to the PSP for keeping the pump division alive! No coaching would be best for pump, so maybe they will consider that for the season. Have a great 2013 to all teams, whatever you decide to play. Thanks, Justin
I heard an event maybe held up in Reno and not Phx
