New to the luxe!
Well, I've been itching to get my hands on a luxe for the first time and I got lucky! I got it for $450! The upgrades I have bought are a 2.0 core, and 2.0 board.
What else should I upgrade? Suggestions?

You lucky SOB! You can always put a VP trigger if you don't like the stock one.

Save your money to buy paint - it should be just fine with what you have ! Enjoy.

Size 17 HBNR or urethane orings. They seem to be the only orings that regularly needs replacement.

Well, I changed my dwell to 10 with no shoot down issues at a 550 psi output tank. Is that good?
Edit: FT in or out for efficiency?

Efficiency keep it in.
But If your like me and only carry a hopper and 6 pods, Might as well make it super smooth.
Efficiency, Get an ef rod(efficiency rod) a sprung bolt, turn your dwell down a tad and bore correctly, ft in mani flush should provide best efficiency.
Ft out, mani in 1-3/4 to 2 turns in dwell to stock or so and bore right provides you with the smoothest shot. (all luxes are different but this is a generality, You'll have to mess with the dwell and Manifold to get the best shot)
Also, Chrono to 275-285 for smoothest shot. You dont need the extra 15 fps, and it makes a big difference on the wear of the marker(in my experience)
Any questions feel free to pm me

Doesn't the FT in provide a smoother shot....

The FT slows the forward movement of the bolt, thus creating a softer and quieter shot that is more gentle on paint.

Nope. Turn the dwell back up. Short dwell is not as conistent or reliable particularly in cold weather. Dwell at 16 ms with FT in

Ok. Here's all I know.
FT out=more efficiency
Dwell lower=efficiency
Bore to paint=efficiency
Low tank pressure=efficiency

Lower tank pressure won't make the gun any more efficient. You may get a few more shots out of the tank by being able to shoot further into it.
Lowering the dwell on a spool valve won't get you any real gains in efficiency either.
Good, hand fitted orings and proper lubing will gain the most. Removing FT will get you a little more as well
