Although I'm not white, but he hit it dead on.

A portion of being fashionable is personal innovation and standing out, it's just really the extent to which you pursue both and how well you temper individual expression with common aesthetics/ideas which separates a well dressed person, a fashionable one, and the smelly weirdo in docs and a trenchcoat in the summer
probably my least fav viscious fit thus far.
would be better if he switched shirt out for a more casual blue chambray (which would also tie navy with the beige well)
or with darker trousers or a lighter jacket as stated previously
This is where we disagree. It's not about innovation or standing out. It's about fit. If your clothes fit properly, then you're fashionable. And of course, they don't like hideous and clashing colors. But mostly it's about fit. You don't need to wear something loud or different to make a statement.
Chambray shirt would be a little too casual for the look I was going for there. I have other jackets I'd wear if I was going casual. That Hickey Freeman jacket is by far my favorite and I picked it up at a bargain price which makes it even better.
Glad you like most of the shoes. I have some snuff suede AE neumoks that should be here tomorrow that I'm looking forward to wearing in the spring and summer.
