Classic valve question

So i was reading through here and I wanted to verify a few things.

On a classic valve the ult on/Off will not work properly. But a r/t on /Off will work and the result will be a softer trigger pull?

If this is true will the pressure have to be risen on my tank for the r/t on/Off to work? And can I just buy a r/t on/Off and put it in? Any special work needed?

Thanks in advance.

The ULT will work on classic mags, but it isn't reccomended.

See this thread on Automags.org for more info.
