Yea....its the station I used to do my show through....totally irresponsible way of reporting news. Sad part was people were jumping down MY throat for defending a "racist".

Welcome to the north...

He eventually acknowledged that they poised the question wrong, and the status died...but the damage something like that does, especially reinforcing the stereotypes people already have of the sport. Boring? Sure. "How much skill does it take to turn left for 500 miles?" Fine. But the racist tag is soooo far from true its incredible and its annoying as **** when idiots with a following of idiots from a city of idiots spew nonsense across vast social media outlets.

Joe, please tell me you saw that finish. Those last 10 laps were great. Definitely a good finish other than Kyle Busch winning. Even though I don't like Denny Hamlin, I hope nothing serious happened. But to Logano's defense, that wasn't his fault. Hamlin wrecked him. I was hoping Logano would pull off that win ahead of him.

Great finish by Jr. Being in ~20th place with 20-30 to go and makes a run to finish 2nd.

Tony Stewart proving once again why many(myself included) don't like him. It's okay when he gets into people and causes huge wrecks(Dega last year comes to mind) but as soon as Logano blocks him for the lead he's trying to box? Child please.

Lol just saw the interview. I wish someone would troll him with a umad joke.

Denny will be staying at a hospital overnight. Just saw another replay if the wreck and I don't think anyone is to fault. Looked like it was just a result of hard racing.

Why is Tony such a cry baby? He looks real tough trying to fight a kid half his age and half his size.

I didnt get to see it. I just saw the highlights though. Vicious hit by Hamlin. That one looked like it stung.

As for Tony and Logano, I think its hysterical. I LOVE Tony, and calling Logano a little rich kid whos never worked for anything was hilarious, as was calling him a little girl. I love when drivers have a good beef. Makes it more intriguing week to week.

You like Tony? Can't stand him. He's right up there with the Busch brothers in my opinion.

I agree with the drivers having beef, but this isn't the first time Tony has thrown a temper tantrum and got his panties in a wad. And I think the way he's going about it is as childish as it gets. You know very well that he would have been doing the same thing if in Logano's position. I think they're at Martinsville this weekend. so they should have plenty of opportunities to punt each other.

It was Bowyer that Gordon turned last year. It was at Phoenix IIRC. Bowyer was pissed and I don't blame him. That was when he was 2nd in the points with just 1 or 2 races left in the season. That basically took him out of contention.

Sucks for Denny. But he put fuel on the fire at Bristol.

So did you guys see Hamlins interview on ESPN? I only caught a little bit of it. From what I saw, he was kind of *****ing about "thats why you dont wreck people" because now he (very unfortunately) has to wear a brace on his back for some weeks in order to heal his fractured vertebra in his back. While I agree drivers need to be aware....getting wrecked is part of the game. Its the same as being hit in football. You know what you signed up for. No one is making you do this. Getting wrecked happens...no one knows who will get hurt when they nudge a guy the wrong way (example A), race hard on the last lap (example B), or just happen to **** up at an importune time (example C). **** happens, and I really do feel bad for Hamlin....and I may be taking his comments out of context as I cant find a video online of the interview, but if hes really complaining about getting hurt due to a wreck, he picked the wrong life style.

Example B:

Example C:

Just watched the interview with Denny.

Youtubed a few of the interviews with Logano and I didn't see him state that he tried to take him out intentionally. Maybe I missed it or didn't look at the right interviews?

I think Denny is just frustrated at the whole situation. But to be fair, when you get into someone trying to move them out of the way and you spin them out, don't get mad when that person is bumping and banging for the race lead on the last lap. Does it suck that he's missing 5+ races? Yeah but that's the risk in sports. It's one thing if it was intentional, but I don't think it was.

If anyone finds a video of Logano saying he did it on purpose. Pleaes forward it. I personally think Logano will take a lot more heat from this than what he should.

As for Tony, he's still a crybaby. Will be lulzy if(when) he and Logano tangle at Martinsville this weekend. I completely agree with Logano's stance on why he blocked him at the end of the race. There was 15 or so laps to go. You don't just watch as someone goes by. Don't like it? Move him out of teh way. Tony didn't seem to have any problem last year at Dega making jokes after he took out 25 cars late in the race.

And it looks like I'm all set for the NRA 500. As of now, they haven't told us that we didn't win teh tickets. Not sure where the seats are other than turn 3 in the Chevrolet deck or something. We get free food and get to look at the 2014 Silverado.

This will be my first night race so I'm pretty excited. Need to get a working scanner.

Yeah I'm pretty excited.

Spending all day at TMS for free? I'm sure I'll buy some souvenirs or something.

Most likely thursday-monday. I'd like to stay for the week but I cant take to much time off in the summer. Its the busy season for the restaurant so taking a weekend off is a legit 4-500 hit, let alone the week. But my buddy moved down to palm coast and has a sweet little bachelor pad about 30 minutes from the track.

When my dad retires, he and I are going to spend the week in Charlotte for the All Star race and the 600. We've been talking about doing it since my first trip the all star race in 93.

Not a good day for Jr.

I hope Bowyer moves Jimmie out of the way.

Bowyer had 1 opportunity on the last restart to give him a nudge. Should have went for it even though that would have meant him likely being spun a few laps later by Gordon or Jimmie.

Hendrick has pretty much owned this track the past decade between Jimmy and Gordon.

Hopefully Texas isn't a boring race with 2 cautions and 150 laps of green flag racing.
