That turned out fairly nice looks sexy I myself am getting a white spire, I just finished modding my VForce Grill now I am have to do this to my spire. Thanks for sharing!

the black accents on your spire did u cover them? i have a white with pink accents will the dye change the pink?

I disassembled it so it was just the white shell. And yes it could possibly dye the pink accents on yours.

The ring that goes between the 2 halfs comes out when you seperate them. The back plate comes off after you take out the screw that holds it in. As for the v symbols you would need a pick to pull them off. The "spire" stickers can be dyed over though.

Any ideas on how to get a fade? Should I dip half the spire in the first color and then just dip the other half in over the edge of where color 1 went to? Or is there something that can be used as a buffer?

You said to use liquid because it dyes quicker. So hypothetically, if you wanted like a grey color, you'd want to use the black powder and not leave it submerged very long?

That is the way I have seen the people who have done fades did it.

I'm not too sure if it would turn out actually grey or a really light black. I would test it on the tray first in order to make sure you get the effect you want.

looks good instead of vinyl you should have wrapped it with frogtape and a plastic exacto knife..................... but this looks dope bro
