Oh well, I'll still use it.

Didn't mention any of those things in the advertisement of the bolt

"Reduces recoil" and "smoother" can usually be considered the same thing. I bet the loose fit + reduced mass of the bolt is leading the bolt accelerating faster, causing just as much recoil as the stock bolt despite the the reduced mass.
Did you have to adjust your velocity when adding the Exalt bolt? Turning down the HPR should have been needed since the bolt is suppose to to have increased flow.

Yeah, I did have to turn the velocity down a little. There was about a 10 FPS difference.

Try paintball showcase. You will need the Geo 2 propshaft and a Geo 2 bolt (Like this one or the stock bolt). I know they have Geo+ propshafts for $40 there, but I'm sure the Geo2s would still be way more.

They have the pictures up but i've never seen them in stock on their site.
On topic: I received my launch bolt on Saturday and tested them with some reballs in my basement. For me, there is a noticeable change in sound signature. It quieted the shot down, but by how much I have no way of figuring out.
Also I had a jump in fps by about 10-15. Since I don't have a loader that will feed my off-brand reballs consistently I'm not sure on the "kick" factor. I want to say it made the shot a bit smoother, but it could just be me wanting it to be that to justify the price tag.

Mine had no anno flaws , but I did end up putting my stock bolt orings on it , I played a game w the green ones and my gun did the "Tipmann out of air rapid fire" thing it was weird but after I swapped the orings it was fine

That is weird. Mine didn't do that, but it was a little tough to slide at first. After a day of playing, it was just as smooth as stock.

I replaced the green o-ring with the stock o-ring. This will help with inefficiency. I was getting 7 ~ 8 pods and a hopper with stock bolt. Hope adding this exalt launch bolt will keep my inefficiency the way it is or help it.

So I went out to my local field today to test out the new Exalt bolt. Outside temp was 23 degrees, I had to raise my dwell from 10 to 11 to compensate for the cold. I used a .688 Ultralight with Valken Redemption paint. I noticed a significant improvement in consistency with the Exalt bolt over the Stock, however because of the temperature take my findings with a grain of salt. I used a 20 ball control on this test.
Stock Bolt Readings: 273,281,269,279,286,284,276,284,288,283,280,286,28 7,278,275,287,267,259,263,268
Exalt Bolt Readings:
282,279,285,287,286,287,285,286,286,285,285,288,28 7,293,285,286,291,285,272,279
With the Stock Geo Bolt I had quite a few Barrel breaks, nothing broke directly inside the breech.

With the Exalt bolt it was nothing but smooth sailing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFTcwgCIp4g
I did experience the "rapid fire" sputtering that other users have described, it is mainly when im airing the marker up and dont push the POPS in all the way fast enough...it's strange. I also have not tried switching out the green orings for black orings as I wanted to test the bolt straight out of the packaging. Time will tell how it shoots once the orings and tip are broken in more.
Thank you to Tom at Fields of Fire in Mystic, CT. for letting me steal is chrono station

Recoil is a very subjective thing to measure. Everyone will have different opinions about the way a gun shoots.
The only real way to measure it would be using a force plate/scale on the butt of the tank and allowing the whole gun to slide on a friction free surface. No person would be able to differentiate a few gram difference. Theres too many factors affecting felt recoil such as weight of the set up, velocity, etc.

You guys think it would give me 1 more pod? I'm desperate here. I'm only getting 4 pods and a hopper max!
