I really hope Denard can make the switch from QB. I kind of want him to go to the Pats cause I feel like theyre one of the few teams that would actually make use of his skill

I see him like a Josh Cribbs type. He won't set the world on fire in the NFL, IMO, but unlike tebow he has the type of raw athleticism that NFL teams like to see. Denard has tons of speed and is pretty good in space, so he could make a decent return man and maybe situational offensive player. Not sure if he can catch.

Obvious NFL fail was obvious. Was hilarious when a few UF fans thought they won after McDaniels went full retard taking him in the first round.

i dont think he will be able to do what cribbs does. yes, he will be a good return guy and maybe a speed back but cribbs can basically do anything. he is strait up one of the best tacklers we have. cribbs also has really, really good hands, his route running is pretty ****ty though (and he is not really that fast). a lot of people wanted him to be turned into a safty since we need help there and he is so good at taking guys down. i think that ship has sailed, pretty sure cribbs is on the outs

in all honesty i think Denard will have success in the NFL. he might not be a star guy but he will fill at least a special teams roll well. he definitely has potential to be a lot more than that.

never seen cribbs play any defense. I meant in terms of how he is utilized in a limited and interesting way on offense and also as a return man.

yea i get you. i definitely could see denard developing into a chris johnson type back. he is speedy and illusive. i don't think it will happen but i would not be surprised if it did.

well ******* shurmur snubbed cribbs on offense this year. he has a good year last year and was a scary weapon with mangina. that REALLY pissed me off this season. he is not overly fast but when he gets the ball he always creates space and when he is in space he is one of the most dangerous guys in the league.

I could see Denard as a mini Cobb in the right system, it all just depends on if he can catch. Hes not gonna be a pro bowl player, but I think he can be a solid pro.

Have not seen much cobb, so can't say. I'd be very surprised if he got to be anything close to Chris Johnson in the sense that Johnson is an every down back. Seems like a big transition for a QB to change to taking handoffs and be that good at it. Plus he is kinda small and I think he'd get killed running into the line 20 times a game. A smart coach would design ways to get him in space, IMO.

Cobb plays wr, some rb, and returns punts. Assuming DR can catch at all he would do alright in the slot with some run plays mixed in. Hes not gonna play straight RB hopefully, and no matter what hes gonna have to get a little bigger

speaking of super fast guys, this summer the pats signed Jeff Demps and then promptly put him on IR the whole year, which I assume is a whole year of steroids, learning the playbook, etc. I am curious if they will be able to find use for him next year.
