Interesting. He's the guy I really wanted for Jacksonville last year.

Yep, Chud is gone. He runs the same system as Norv so I wouldn't be surprised to see Norv here so Cam doesn't have to learn a new system.

I really hope you guys don't get Nassib. I want him to do well but you will probably throw him into the lineup way too early and ruin him. He's a project

yep.

not even remotely close to who i wanted, i hadnt even heard of any interest in him. oh well, he is good and he is definitely better than razzle dazzle dumb *** that we just fired. he did put together our offense in 2007 when we were 10-6, which i dig

edit: ive seen more **** saying Norv will probably be the OC in cleveland. i could really get behind it. also saw somewhere the browns will most likely go back to a 3-4 defense...mother of **** no. nononono **** please tim tebow no! IMO the bear is the only defensive scheme we should consider.

Same thing with Blaine. I don't think we'll go for Nassib at all though.

I'm just glad things are actually changing. No more half measures. It's gonna be a whole new team. New GM, new coach, new qb, new uniforms, new logo, new errythang.

I'm not gonna be as blindly optimistic and annoying as I was this past season but I'm excited.

I think the Jags are headed in the right direction but i dont see them being playoff bound until they find a franchise QB and I dont think thats happening this year. Should be better though.

I wish we would just go ahead and axe Rivera. I feel like we are wasting next year because we will probably be 8-8 or something and then Gettlemen will just go ahead and get his guy afterwards.

Has there been a QB recently to come out of the Big 12 that was successful?

inb4 Vince Young dream team.

No, that was a derp moment. I wasn't thinking about him at all.

Minus RG3, has there been a successful QB from the big 12?

It's a bit of a reach at #1, but it's not like anyone is dying to pay big to trade up to the #1 pick this season and the Chiefs desperately need a qb and there are 0 free agents or trade prospects worth grabbing (don't bother trying to make an argument for Alex Smith)

Is there some magic conference that guarantees an elite batch of qb's each year? Stanford, Wisconsin and Baylor aren't exactly qb factories.

Wheedon, Tannehil, Bradford and Weeden could all be pretty good down the road. Wilson, rg3 and Luck have kind of skewed everyone's expectations for a rookie qb.

My original post before I edited was about Whiz getting a second interview and likely to be the coach, then I saw it ended up not being him, wonder why.
