ego 6 qev leak.

my ego 6 is leaking inside the body of the gun so i separated the frame from the body and listened for leaks. it appears to be the qev closest to the noid(i dont think its the noid itself) upon inspection when i push said qev into my marker it appeared to quiet the leak. both qevs also seem loose like i can push them in and out. so is it possible i can just reloctite the qev or do i pretty much just need to bite the bullet and find a new one?

update! upon further dissasembly and inspection the qev is definatly broken. as in when i tried to remove it, it came straight out due to its threads being stuck in the rammer housing. so new questions i found an 05 ego rammer housing for sale but i dont know if it will work with my 06, does anyone know if this is possible? or any tips on getting the threads out? i think they are locktighted in. these are my 2 options. literally any help would be nice.

An 05 rammer housing will work in an 06 Ego. The hard part is finding replacement QEVs. ProstarPB.com used to have them, but I do not see them on the site. The threads might have to be drilled out, without damaging the threads in the rammer housing.

I just bought new rammer housing and I still have one intact qev though I'm nervous as to its reliability.

I found qevs on paintballshowcase.com but I'm not sure of this sites reliability? Any one have any experience with this site

Paintball showcase is basically the go-to site for any Ego parts, so yes, it's legit.

(my 06 had same problem) Paintball showcase is legit - Bill will take care of you - I had the same issues - you have to heat up the loctite to loosen it but send it to Bill he will do it for your without messing up the sleeve - he only charged me $22 - got my gun right back and all was well again

Just got qevs from there but I haven't been able to do any work on my gun due to being out in the field for work

Update. Got it running and then traded it in as credit towards my brand new ego 11 thanks fir the help
