No comparison. MacDev smokes DP in every regard. DP is low to mid-end and MacDev is high end.

DP is a **** company, I'd throw paintballs before I bought another gun from them.

Never owner a GT but my drone dx was very nice (should've kept it). I have had the original DP fusion (I think it was called), g3, and g4. I like dp guns for the price but something just feels cheap about them. I guess for a couple hundo I should expect that. I wouldn't pay more than $200 for any dp gun.

DP is not terrible, they just simply dont hold a candle to a Macdev... The DP hate on here is a bit ridiculous. They certainly have their issues, but there are definitely worse guns out there.

the only thing i can say, since i have never used a rev-i is, the clone is probably better, but is it worth the price difference? although, if you would be buying new, or even used, there are things better than the rev-i, or so i have heard, for the same price or even less.

Had a dp revi that was nothing but trouble. Not shot a gt, but will never buy another dp.

I love the revi board and smoothness with a TechT bolt over the GT but it's bulky as hell. Wish they milled it down more.

A tect revi isn't near the smoothness of even a v2 clone, or droid for that matter. Revis shoot pretty bad for being a spool. Not too far from a g3.

Because they're both based on the Treshold. Only where the Rev-I kept a large volume chamber so using lower pressures, the G3/G4/G5 with it's tiny little chamber needs more pressure. Plus it's lighter and so has less weight to help "disperse" the inertia, so you simply feel more of the kick. Making it significantly less smooth (Personally speaking, I think the G3 was one of the worst shooting spool valves ever made by anyone).
