Bedding in is a combo of both the pads and rotors... It's when the pads deposit an even layer of pad material on the surface of the rotor.

gotcha. i got the pads in, i guess i will just make sure when i get my rains on to take it easy for a bit to bed them in. what is the process of bedding in when i do go out and ride the new pads? just go easy on brakes for a few laps?
also... i have a PC3 on my bike and i just put a BMC high flow air filter in. will the pc3 auto adjust to it? i imagine this filter will have much more air flow and i REALLY dont want to have to get it mapped again

run1 is air filter and exhaust with a downloaded map.
run6 is the same hardware, but with a "custom" fuel map

just a mivv slip on, arrow is the only full system out for the speed triple. i was really hoping akro would release a full system.
7hp for $85 isn't a bad deal.

I rode about 70 miles or so today from new Paltz, ny up to kingston and Woodstock, and then back and forth over the shawangunks to get home. It was pretty nice, but I definitely need better gloves. I stopped at a gas station and got hand warmers about 15 miles into the ride. Lots of folks were out tho, saw a bunch of bikes out.

Woke up early, bike had frost all over it... warmed it up, cleaned it off, went for a 40 minute ride that ended at my job. Worked all day then went for a 90 minute ride after I got out... This summer I plan on doing a multi day trip with some camping (only what I can fit on the bike)

lots of bikes out here too. a crazy amount of potholes from the blizzard we had which kinda sucks. ive been wearing a pair of latex gloves under my alpine stars gloves to stop the wind, it works surprisingly well and still leaves my fingers pretty flexible.. i dont start complaining about the cold until about an hour before sun down, seems thats when the temp starts to drop and my hands get too cold to stay out any longer.

a buddy of mine who does the cruiser thing takes trips up to mt washington and down to tennesee. think im gunna try and make a few of those with him this summer. multi day trips seem like theyd be a lot of fun.

I wanted to get out yesterday but I do so much **** to do. We got a new dog and the ****ing thing needs to go out about once every 15 minutes in order not to pee in the house.
I figured I'd just man up and ride to work today. That was a mistake. 25*, no sun had come up yet and any water on the road was frozen. But on the plus side, i pulled into the bays and washed my bike in the afternoon.

Changed fork oil today, installed the wheels, got the engine in and everything connected.
Anyone know where there is a ready source of reverse/left handed/threaded drill bits and taps? I've got a broken bleeder screw in my front caliper and this seems to be the only way to remove it.

Got out for an hour or so yesterday in northwest CT. Followed the farmington river up riverton, through peoples forest, then came down and around back to torrington. Never went on that route yet and it wasnt too bad, cant wait until the mornings stay above freezing

It's funny watching craigslist bike prices, we will have a week of 80degree weather and the bike prices sky rocket then a week of 50 degree weather and they plummet again.
