So I bought some race is pads for my bike and realized today I still have a good amount of life in the stock r6 pads. Anyone use race pads before? How big is the difference? I mean they were 100$ for the set so if I don't need em I'm gonna send them back

I just found a 76 minute long video of serious bike wrecks on youtube (i would say 50% are scooter crashes) but seriously, if I ever watched that before i bought my bike I dunno how I'd feel. Ride safe bros.
Done today:
AIS removal - block off plates
secondary flies
cut the air box
installed a PCV
rerouted crankcase ventilation
replaced ****ty factory fuel line
put some grips on - tilted the handle bars down
put on all the repainted fairings
rad gaurd
feels good man.

No interest at all in selling, pulled this thing out of a old farm silo buried with debris. Majority of it is original.

lol, more lean... surprisingly the handle bars can still lock without touching the tank. If i don't like it I can always just put the bar back to stock couch like ergonomics. win-win

Scorpion EXO series is a great deal for the money. Don't forget the rest of the gear. A helmet is only 1/4 of the equation.

I second the vote on the scorpion helmet. The Exo400 is snell rated and only about $130. But don't forget jacket and gloves. And some sturdy boots. Be prepared to spend about $500 or more on equipment. Prolly more.

hoping to have the ninja and yzf together within 2 weeks. now i am asking myself if i build the ninja in my cellar and have a clean, effortless build out of the elements and push it out the hatch way, or build it outside where there is risk of elements and dirt affecting my build, but i won't have to push a whole bike up the stairs. hmmmmmmmmm

Built it inside. I'll help you carry it upstairs if you need or I have ramps.

Use a truck with a winch to get it back out.
