Halfway through changing the spark plugs I got so fed up with the lack of space for the wrench that I decided to pull the AIS module entirely and order block off plates. Love the bike but damn did Yamaha do a great job making sure it's a ***** to work on.

Just got back from riding... It's ****ing cold as ****... The CBR is a scary fast bike, like...holy **** fast... It's so nice though. I am very glad that I started on a smaller bike and worked up, I would've wrecked a bigger bike within the first week of owning it.

Next fall of so i may look into one of the old man aerostich suits. At that point can pretty much ride whenever.
But hoping the car just works at that point. I should just sell it and ride year round.

What did you have before the 1000rr? The first time I went out on a literbike I realized that full throttle on my 600 was barely even a third of the way up on the R1. The power is awesome!

2009 Honda Rebel 250
1979 Yamaha XS750 special
rode a fz6r for a little bit, felt restricted.
I still own the rebel and yamaha (yamaha will be gone soon)
What I noticed on the highway, is the difference in power at various RPM... You don't notice it on the 250 at ALL (in my eyes) But once I hit the 6k range, it's like I hit a boost button or something... Actually scared me a bit.

Liter bikes are awesome.
They are easier to do the speed limit than 600s I think because you can be at milder lower rpms. Easy to go stupid fast but so is on a 600.
My r6 is about as fast as my fz1 though just all top end vs all rpms.

I have heat demon warmers on my bike. Same concept but they go under the grips and stay on all the time.

I don't care how warm my core is, if I'm doing 90 on a 45 degree morning, my fingers get cold even with gloves and warmers.
