Does putting a slip-on on a 01 ninja 250 require jetting the carbs?

I have had multiple tickets, licenses suspended, etc... Geico was BY FAR the cheapest.

Don't be afraid to call state farm. As a brand new rider on an SV650, about 20/21 years old I only paid $40/month

i pay ~50 for both my bikes. I have high limits on my street bike, and liability on my track bike to insure against fire, theft, etc. Tickets substantially (At least for me) increased premiums, I've went down 75$ a month over the years as I distanced from my teen speeding tickets. I like progressive for street coverage, and state farm for my track bike.

I would. They're already lean from the factory. More air being pushed out can only lean it out further.

Not all of the 250s were lean. Jetting varied by year. Mine came a bit on the rich side.

Yeah I just read both of those articles, I'll probably just leave the exhaust alone lol.

My plugs are incredibly white.

I would get a Muzzy full system before a slip on. I think duck has one for sale. For a pre-gen. Assuming were talking about a pre-gen. If its a new-gen then there should be tons of exhaust choices.

I pay $198 a year for my Ninja 250. I have high coverage on everything except for collision damage to the bike. Which I have none of, 'cuz my bike is basically worthless in the eyes of the insurance company. Even a drop would total it. However, everyone's expenses will be handled, no matter what happens. My *** is completely covered for injuries and property damage. I'm 19, have 2 fat speeding tickets, both high enough to be on the verge of having my license suspended, one got thrown out though, actually, I only have a permit lol. I got an e-mail for my insurance company a few months ago saying they dropped my rates slightly! Haha!

Point is, insurance cost depends on many things. Location is huge too. Insurance for cars is high around here due to the theft. Especially if you drive a Honda or Acura. My neighbor's Integra got stolen the week she moved here.
