Just to clarify, but when you say the "bolt is extremely tight" do you mean that you are unable to unscrew the bolt/can/propshaft from the rear of the marker?

try using a hair dryer and heat up the back of the body and try unscrewing it. hopefully the previous owner didn't use any type of locktite on it.

As stated above, make sure your marker is degassed first. one would hope that he didn't use lock tight.

Maybe a thread isn't aligned up correctly?
As previously stated, attempt to heat up the back of the gun, around the bolt cap. Once it gets fairly warm (or hot) then attempt to remove the cap. Make sure the gun has been de-gased, and honestly, make sure you're unscrewing it the correct way. So many times, I have screwed something out the wrong way, thinking it was stuck. Just make sure, because dumb ***** like me don't think about that half of the time...
But for gods sake, lets hope he didn't loctite it!

Yes it is a tool less design. However there are slots for an allen in two spots on the back cap for these cases. It is possible that the previous person has tightened them down using these spots and now its to tight to loosen by hand. Simply use an allen, or two and loosen the back cap to the left. After its loose then it is possible to tighten by hand and disassemble by hand making it tool less.

No the middle mettal part moves when you air up the gun. Put your allen in one of the large holes.
