As they should...
I'm not tipping the same when it takes 2 hours for me to get a pizza as I do when I get it in 45.

I understand drive time and living rural, but if you advertise a wide delivery range and I'm 10 minutes away I expect my pizza quickly and will stiff people all the time.
Same with a messed up order. I thousands of orders a year with my company and have NEVER ****ED UP ONCE. nor should you. But forgetting for the third time in a month I want bacon on my chicken ranch is getting you shafted.

Now say you get it to me hot in 45 minutes and have a good attitude you will likely get more in tip then I payed for the ****ing pizza.

So tldr, it's your fault for not riding everyone else. You already said you make more. Accept the added responsibility or get shorted/screwed over.

You clearly don't know the laws and should stop answering questions.

Delivery people are not classified as waiters and thus must get min wage

So it boils down again to.
How was the service I got?
Nothing else

I don't make the orders or take them on the phone of its wrong its not my fault and it'll be replaced free. If I bring you a Pepsi and not a mt dew yeah that's my fault but I'll let you keep it and.bring back 2 my dews. And as for the time it takes to get to your house sorry we don't have lights and sirens we can't control traffic or weather such as snow. And if we only have two drivers working and 20 deliveries yeah it'll take you longer to get your food we have to take the oldest deliveries first. I don't think the tip should be based in stuff we don't control

Yeah that might be true but even big pizza chains have independently owned stores and don't all pay their drivers minimum wage. Under the table I'm sure

I'd like to be a delivery driver. I enjoy driving and getting paid to drive would be chill.

It's really not all that great. I did it before my current job and I made decent money about 400-500 a week depending what nights/how busy it was.

I know a few kids I worked with who are still there and work 5 or 6 days a week and make about the same as I do at my job. But they also work much longer hours, and use their vehicle which has its added costs.

As stated we have a list of **** places to deliver to(no tips, or 20 cents) I never acted out on these people I did my **** in order. Just because someone's a cheap ****, doesn't mean they deserve **** service. It's part of the job deal with it.

I actually.like it. Most college students my age get paid 7.40-10 an hour I can easily double or triple that just driving listening to music, stopping at home or getting food, make stops at stores as long as I'm not gone too long they never know

I'm assuming just for extra profit just because they can I think its stupid and is.gladly lose my 85 cents of the 3.25 they charge in hopes of that bringing in more tips. My manager says its for insurance incase we get into an accident andht somebody but I don't believe that because someone got into an accident and he had to deal with it with his.insurance not the companies
