Your break beam sensor is commonly referred to as "eyes." This system prevents your Ego from cycling if there is not a paintball in the breech, this will help prevent "chopping" a paintball which is what happens when the marker cycles when a paintball is only halfway in the breech.
Lowering your velocity is accomplished by adjusting your High pressure regulator.
There is a screw on the bottom of it you turn it clockwise to lower it and counter clockwise to raise it. Do this in small increments and give it a few shots each time to make sure you are doing this accurately.

I'm going to sound like an *** when i say this but it needs to be said....
Reading your manual will answer both of these questions for you. If you don't have a physical manual, the internet is a fantastic tool to find them.

I would highly recommend that you read the owners manual before trying to do anything with the marker...like pay..

if you dont have one, you should download the manual from eclipse website and read it thoroughly. it will explain all parts of your marker, and tell you how to take care of it.
its a $1200 marker. seriously, read the manual.

Why shouldn't he want a quality marker? the nexus egos were 06-07 models...its an older ego.
Back on topic.
Read the manual, you have a great marker. Just take the time to understand how to maintain it. Enjoy!

The answers can be found in the manual I linked you to in your other thread. I will close this one now. Please do not make any more threads about this marker until you have read the manual front to back.
