you should put at least 10 cases of paint through it before changing the dwell settings. but I like the way my gun shoots with the sfr setting all the way down...

I have found that dramatic change of the dwell from stock causes drop off at high rates of fire. Stock dwell works the best to be the most dependable.

Bump your dwell up to 27ms you dont lose any efficiency and it is more consistent.

As Rhoward said,
we have seen some people complain about dropoff/inconstant chrono readings with the SFR all the way down. We then up the dwell a little until the problem goes away.
But before we took this step, we increased the solenoid power to see if that would remedy the problem. Here in Colorado, with colder temperatures, it seems to fix most problems and is fast an easy to do.

So if I'm getting dropoff or inconsistency I should just switch the solenoid to high power? I just got my Geo3 and put about 5 pods through it. My SFR is all the way down. Didn't really notice any issues but it is going to get colder. I essentially want to bulletproof the gun. One setting for all conditions without losing any efficiency.

I agree!! I was +/- 15 with gun all stock with ST bolt and SFR down. Turned it up to 27.2 and its +/- 5 now. If I use the other bolt its even better.
