Identify this Shocker... The Saga Continues

I made a trade and just received this beauty in the mail today. Haven't gotten a chance to air it up or anything (ran home on lunch break), but was able to tear it apart and snap some pics. Marker is in very good condition for its age. Virtually no breech wear and very little wear on the nano. I've attached some pictures I took in hopes of learning out more about what I have.

The red bolt guide (if that's what it calls) says ST on the back, presumably for Shock Tech. Looking at the machining, I cannot find any difference between it and the stock guide. Nor can I feel any real difference in weight. Anyone care to enlighten me on why I should use one over the other?

Things I know about it thus far:

SFT Model
Dynasty Board w/Vision
CP Reg
Critcal ASA
NDZ Detents
Aftermarket Clamping Feedneck of Unknown Origin
SN#: SH05766

What I would like to know:

Year
Difference between the two bolt guides
Is it a stock bolt/firing can (if I'm even using the terms correctly)
Anything else you think is pertinent
Approximate value (if it's okay to ask outside of appraisal thread)

I appreciate any help you can offer. Shockers are my "guilty pleasure" gun. I don't care much for Smart Parts, but have always liked the Shockers that I have played with. I've traded about 4 markers in the past month or so to get to this, and plan on keeping it as a back up to my Ego8 (or who knows... Maybe it'll turn into my primary).

I'm pretty excited to have it, and really do appreciate any input you all may have. Thank you!

EDIT:

I have also found that it will fire for one shot, leak air, then reseal after a couple seconds. Sometimes I have to fire it twice. It held air fine when initially aired up. Did I not put enough lube on it?

Was told on MCB that it's got an HE bolt, but looks to be a non-HE firing can. Any compatibility issues to worry about?

Nope, but you won't get any HE benefit with an SFT can.

How can I tell for sure? I wasn't able to pop it out at lunch, but will when I get home. What should I look for? I can post a picture too...

If you are planning on grabbing an eigenbolt you wont need to grab an he can. I wouldnt use the red st guide unless you really wanted to. Id probably sell it. You dont see st guides on the bst much let alone a nice red one. Feedneck looks like just a qlock.

If there's no performance gain, I'll plan on selling it. Thanks!

The bolt guides are both Identical other than the shocktech letters. It an HE bolt, SP q-lock feedneck and year on a shocker is irrelevant since SP didn't do a yearly release of the same gun like PE or dye the shocker sft was the same thing from 03-06 with minor updates like the flipped microswitch mod stock or the nerve ramping board.

That looks nice, other than the hideous sticker on it.

Aired it up, and initially it held air fine. However, when I fire it, it doesn't always seal. Typically, every other shot, it fails to seal. Sometimes it'll reseal on it's own, others after firing one shot.

Any pointers? Did I possibly not lube it enough?

Seems like you should swap your orings out. Just because it doesnt leak at idle doesnt mean its not leaking while cycling. You definitely dont want to over lube it.

Any specific o-ring I should be looking for? I'll have to order an o-ring kit... I have a decent assortment, but not sure if i have all the sizes.

Describe whats happening better. Is the bolt sticking forward and leaking down the barrel? Is it leaking out of the frame? You need to be more specific.

Sorry. Had a pissed off girlfriend last night that I was dealing with (she hates it when I shoot inside). She'll be at work in a little so I'll have more time to figure out exactly what it's doing then.

Feel out where the air is coming from. Remove the frame so the noid is exposed reconect the electronics and air and shoot it with the grip frame of then pin point where the leak is coming from.

Have you looked at www.zdspb.com you can get the oring sizes there. A trick to shoot quietly indoors is having a barrel swab in it. My dogs freak out if I don't do that.
