not even a little bit. But they're not bad for scenario play because you can hold a TON of balls onto the field.

I can see it's potential in the scenario scene. Not going to lie, just saw DYE's scenario matrix, looks pretty sweet. Don't think I could drop $1300 on something like that though.

You also need to shoot all that paint to get one to break.

Maybe i can get a 50 cal g6r conversion?

BST is your best bet but I don't think they made all that many of them. They do make 50 cal paintballs iirc but 50 cal is **** and you don't want it.

I don't understand... Stock engine marq set at 80 lpr 220 hpr and a SC'd marq set to 75 lpr 180 hpr and the stock engine is smoother and quieter. Doesn't make logical sense.

That's the sacrifice you make to get more shots per fill.
It's like magic.

But the pressure numbers are what make that happen. The SC engine runs at significantly lower numbers.
I am starting to think the stock engine wastes a lot of air per cycle... it's like the valve open to valve close events (mechanical dwell) are way off. Adding spring tension and mass to the bolt would probably help or any other way of getting the valve shut sooner. The only other thing that isn't adding up is why the dwell tuning is the same.
Lurker... come weigh in.

The answer is in volume. That's why the stock engine burns so much more smoothly and less efficiently. I love a stock engine!

I never disagreed, but it makes no sense. I am going to be needing a few extra ram shafts (or whatever the piece that connects to the bolt is) for some experimentation with the lurker idea of turning them down to introduce back pressure to close the valve faster. It is kinda crazy.

Would make sense if the stock engine ran at LOWER pressure than the SC, but it doesn't. It is dumping air that isn't needed to get the ball to velocity.
