This thread is for those of us whom not only have managed to snatch up one of the 126 Darqs made. But we're here to provide a home for other limited BLAST machine guns as well. Here you'll find the Darq (~150 made), Edge (50 made) and RL Marq ("limited quantities made"). It's been brought up in the Marq forums that we try to branch out and have our own clan. So here it is, hopefully we can keep it rolling and updated.

Our Rules:

1. You must verify ownership of either a Darq, Edge or RL Marq by posting either (3) pics of the marker, or at least one picture of the marker with your name on paper hand written next to it.
2. Membership is limited. Duh, just like our markers.
3. New members will be added once you comply with rule #1.
4. These threads tend to get a little OT, we've been asked to keep that to a minimum.
5. Flaming and starting e-fights will not be tolerated. you will promptly be removed from the clan, and reported to the mods.
6. Members who flame in other threads while sporting Edge of Darqness representation in their signature will be removed from the clan. Responsibility people.
7. BST will close this thread down. Keep it out of here. Resort to PMs if you have to, just don't BST in this thread.
8. Membership and ability to purchase an EoD jersey are priviledges not rights.
9. We will not allow members to enter the clan, nor maintain membership, if they are selling a Darq or RL POSTED for LESS than $650 (stock parts) or an Edge POSTED for LESS than $550 (stock parts). What you sell for is up to you, keep it out of your BST thread (use your PMs) so it doesn't bottom out the value of these limited guns.

Here we will try to keep tabs on the 150 Darqs floating around out there. A running list of how many of each color will be constantly updated as we get new members. Our members will be listed under each color so we don't have two lists, one of guns and one of members. Pics will be linked to each name for your viewing pleasure

Due to the difficulties of trying to get an exact number of factory colors, we are now going to disregard stating this color is "1 of" anything other than 150. From what we're getting from multiple sources, there were 150 bodies milled. 126 delivered to Ed over at Warped. The rest were made into Arsenal Darqs in random colors.

A special note about the "Arsenal" Darq Marqs: From the information gathered and assessed from BLAST, Warped Sportz and through observation of these markers, the Arsenal Darq Marq is still considered a Darq because of the milling of the body. The story from these comes from there being an inaccurate inventory of the Darq bodies when they were cut, and 126 were delivered to Warped for sale as a limited run. These extra bodies were then given stock Marq 6 internals and jewels, Laser engraved for a BLAST sponsored team (Arsenal) and put into circulation as the Arsenal Darq Marq. These Marqs did not have any upgrades to them whatsoever coming from BLAST. These Darqs are easily identifiable by either the LE, standard BLAST jewel on the frame, Frenzy board or BLAST trigger. All these Darqs have in common with the 126 delivered to Warped are the cut of the body. Other than that, it's a stock Marq.

Again guys, know the rules not only what's above, but for pbnation and the clubs threads in general. We don't need to have the banstick beating anybody in here if we can help it.

Info on the Darq:

The Darq is just like any other marq in terms of internals. It comes STOCK with a bunch of upgrades.

Lucky barrel, Violent trigger, Tadao M8, 4-eyes, Cam Drive, Pillow Bolt with QD ram

Warped Sportz only produced 126 of them.

The Darq is A LITTLE BIT (about an ounce) heavier then the Closer.

Since Darqs are limited production, its a bit harder finding one. Due to the limited nature of the Darq, the value of these markers, in lnib condition with stock upgrades, are in the area of $650 usd. Trade value slightly higher of course. Values do drop with excessive wear and downgrades in parts.

When Poorman wanted a PL gun, Bob offered up the "OOPS" model (the Marq 6 and Rapper on one body), and Poorman took it...because paying a programmer and designer to make a new design would cost $$.

When Ed couldn't generate the $$ to make the MOQ the next run around, the "Darq 2.0" became the RL PL gun.

Russian Legion Darqs were destined to be the successor to the Darq Marq as the Darq 8, however a big name team needing a Private Lable marker approached Bob Long and the Russian Legion Darq was born. Being limited in production is up in the air. We are getting conflicting information by different people at BLAST. However, being the design meant to update the Darq line, it is given recognition in our clan and we are going to use the quote from Zach Long that the RLs were produced in "limited quantities."

The Edge is a Marq that BLAST put out to take advantage of the "rarity" bug that has hit pbnation harder than VD in Paris Hilton's bedroom. There were only 50 of them milled. These did not come stock with any of the upgrades other than a QD pillow bolt.

so did I miss a day where CP just handed out regs and ASAs to everybody with a BST here on pbnation? I've seen so many marqs in just one sitting with CP regs and ASAs listed as "upgrades" it makes me sick. It makes soooo much sense. "I'll throw this $65 reg away and put on this $30 reg and call it an upgrade." When in the real world, the 360 reg shoots, looks and feels so great that they put them on the gun they're not selling and put the cheapest alumnium piece of **** they can find just to sell the marker as a complete gun. it really raises my blood pressure.

There are actually a few aquas for sale here on nation. I'm sure you can find someone to swap parts with you. My dust silver arrives in two to three days. I've run into a brick wall looking for the ranjerz droid anno. I'm gonna get the accent pieces anodized gloss burnt orange for this one. always wanted to with the darq accent pieces so F it. I'm getting the clone done like that.

well I can only talk to myself so much. hopefully opening up to RLs and Edges might bring in some more talkative members. So how about the new PL ego 10s that were just released? Is anybody else missing PL guns that were actually milled an not just attacked with graphics?

PE does make some nice annos, I give them that. But I guess it's just more cost effective to anno then mill. I do miss the mills though, whole reason for the Darq/RL/Edge was the milling.

I miss the milling for sure. It's just soo much cheaper for the companies to anno than design and mill out bodies
Bob is still one of the few to have different mills on each platform. I suppose you could count the ego with the sls and ego x
