it looked and sounded like you had some short stroking issues with the gun. The concept is by far one of the best i have seen in the voided warranty tread in a while it just seemed especially with the non motorized hopper that it cant get the balls in fast enough. i almost wonder if you open the timing a bit to allow a little more for the bolt to come back a hair longer.

Well I want to say your wrong but you are not. it seams it was kinda touchy about short stroking. So I tore back into it today and tried to see what was wrong. turns out that the disc springs that run the reg are starting to break in I have run an entire 68/45 just thru the 3 way so I added some disc springs back up to what my original math suggested. Then I put some good lube on it rather than the oil that was on it before. with those 2 issues resolved I turned my attention to timing. I spaced out the auto trigger timing to reduce its sensitivity. I also thought since I had it apart and it looks like I need to have a rotor on it I should upgrade the detent system. I aligned the body in the mill to the original detent and drilled and tapped it for another detent. so now it has dual detents. I then put everything back together and shot 4 hoppers of paint thru it no breaks no short stroking issues and that was at about maybe 5-7 bps when I tried firing as fast as I could from the hip I had it hiccup once and break a ball in the barrel but no more breach breaks.

Thats good to know. I mean your idea is deff something no one has done as i can tell. So when you pioneer something like that you will have a few bugs to work out. and i owned a cocker and when i went from mech to the full electro conversion i had a bunch of timing issues and had some hiccups. its all good. i hope to see more videos of this. Maybe would like to see a black pump. My question is could you modify an existing pump to do the same thing. that would be pretty cool. keep up the good work

Well So I am also still working out some bugs. So I went back to timing square one and actually timed it properly. This fixed about 90% of the problem but sometimes it still shot unintentionally such as when the bolt was going forward. This would give me TREMENDOUS blow back up the feed neck sometimes breaking 2 or 3 balls in the stack making everything just total soup stopping the gun dead. So knowing that I started l looking into why this was happening. as it turns out the lug was just pushing past the sear so then why is the lug able to push past the sear. Well I am using a semi hammer spring that is harder than a pump hammer spring maybe that extra force is able to push past the sear of the frame that is DESIGNED for pump. with that theory in mind I took out the sear return spring from an extra swing frame I had and also the sear spring out of the CCM frame. the sear spring from the extra frame is WAY harder than the CCM. Of course this reduced spring weight makes the trigger in the CCM very light and smooth but I need the sear to return harder. So after replacing the sear return spring I tried to recreate the mode of failure. I tried for 10 min to get it to misfire again but I could not I must have cycled the ram 1000 times. I think I am going to try to make it out to an indoor field tomorrow to give it some more testing but I think I got it licked.

Ya I think I am going to make a black handle now that I know I can make a good handle. I would also like to put the ribs on it like what I have shown in the render, just so it not as slick if you get paint on it. I guess you can still just use the hitman but more options are better.
as for modifying an existing pump what do you mean? an existing handle on my pneumatics? or put the whole thing on something like an S6? In either case I don't know but one day I might have to try.

yea thats what i meant if someone were to send you a Pump cocker and have you mod it. Could you do the same thing with the pump handle that the gun comes with stock.

What's your final color thoughts?
In my personal opinion it should be white/gold with inverse splash on it.

not sure I have some stock laying around here and have been toying with the idea of making a few more to offset my stock costs. I want to get it back from anno and working again before I work on making any more.

I must have it. Now.
It must be added to my collection of unique markers.
But seriously, I'd LOVE for that to be done to my Karnivor.
