Crazy bolt problem with Blitz

Just got back from the paintball park for the second time using the blitz exclusively and I encountered my first problem.

Towards the end of the day, when I would shoot the gun really fast, something would happen and the bolt would not stay cocked. Instead the bolt would just move really fast back n forth in the chamber as if it was firing full auto. To make it stop I would have to grab the pin and cock it and it would stop. But then I would fire fast and it would happen again.

Oh yeah, this did happen with a full tank of air.

Has anyone else here experienced this phenomenon and knows what to do?

Adjustment screw on your reg.....counterclockwise til it stops. Make sure the red oring on your hammer is lubed first. Your marker isn't getting enough pressure. No big deal.

Hmm I figures that might be it. The thing is, that screw on the reg is the only way I can adjust the velocity. That screw behind the spring doesn't do crap.

It should. Make sure you have it assembled correctly.

As smalltown eluded to, the hammer isn't moving back far enough to catch the sear. The pressure is too low or, more than likely, it is the o-ring on the hammer that needs replacing.

Also, just to check the sometimes overlooked, the hammer is installed correctly, right?

Could it just have been bolt stick? When I went to clean it the bolt, it's chamber was pretty coated with dirty factory grease.

Oh and I did check the hammer, looked fine to me. Just polished it up a bit and but a little lube oil on the o ring. I used youtube as a guide into installing the hammer. Is it possible for the gun to fire even though its not installed correctly?

Thats what we were saying about replacing the oring. What type of lube are you using? And no the gun will not cycle if it assembled wrong.

The lube I use is called air lube. It's a clear yellow oil-ish liquid. But that wasnt the gunk I found in the gun. What I found was some white-ish greasy stuff that azodin must put in their markers before shipping.

Why Kaos, which lube do u prefer for the blitz bolt.

I guessing the whiteish grey gunk is azodin's team lube. Its Dow33. The gun lube you have will work, I've used it before. But I'd look for something other than an oil for the future.
