This new forum is just what I have been waiting for! I have a few OLD Shockers I would like to show off. I got to do that in SOTM this year, but have been asked to put pics up of my whole collection numerous times, and am too busy to build my own site. Ill start at the beginning with the marker that started my affair with Shockers. My 2002 lipstick red shocker. This pic is from late '02 I will take new pics soon. It looks a lot different now.
Next is my Tequila Sunrise Eclipse Shocker.
Smart Parts' tequila sunrise anno was a two color fade, orange to yellow. Eclipse added red to the mix, and the result is stunning!
When I was building this marker I thought about trying to get the parts match annoed, but it would be too hard to match the original colors well enough to satisfy me.
So I went with all polished parts.
Eclipse Roket piston (all screw in body parts are polished)
NDZ delrin bolt
Q lock feed neck
HSW hyp-air grip
HSW S frame with cut to fit eclipse grips
Stainless Freak back with 18" red tip.
Glacier AT Board ( I wired the power into the original eclipse switch, so there is no switch sticking out the front, you chose fire modes via the trigger)
2000 Aurora Eclipse- one of ten.
This marker spent its whole life in england until I bought it, and it was owned by a member of the london tigers.
Eclipse ego grips
Eclipse rail and asa
SS freak with a 16" purple tip
Warped sports iron cross detent
Werm v2 bolt
Eclipse roket piston and other "stock" parts
This is a 2000 v sport turbo. The flag finish was offered as a option in the 2000 smart parts catalog. The one pictured was a v sport, that is the only other one I have seen. I have seen a few others with this finish, but never another vert. feed. I was told when I bought this that it was made for a team sponsored by smart parts, the 2001 smart parts catalog has a picture of the all americans, one of which is holding a shocker with this flag finish. Maybe this gun is a piece of smart parts history, or maybe it is just a very sweet patriotic gun. I have owned it since 2003, and that is what I have pieced together. Some may remember this marker, it was OSOTY on Shocker Owners years ago.
This marker has the turbo board that came in it, shoots as fast as any shoebox I have ever shot. 11-12 bps for sure. I used to break this out for xball practice back in the day, and people where always impressed with the speed.
Two new designs detents(rare to have 2 in 2000)
14" freak with a white back
White HSW Super S frame(only one ever)
White 15* asa with cp gas through (this was a mod I first did in 2002 on my first shoebox. Always have shot them like this)
Eclipse roket piston
Werm delrin bolt
Dyed to match SP all american grips
All screw in parts (bolt, fire piston, ect) +frame, grip, freak back were PC white for this marker, making this truly one of a kind.
This is my HSW Super Lite featuring interceptor milling
These were made for one year. The consensus is 21 were made in 2000.
Mine was found online as a pile of parts. I recognized what it was and snapped it up. I was thrilled all the original match annoed parts were there. It was missing; board, 'noids, trigger, and bolt assembly. I tore it down and rebuilt it from the ground up. LS board and 'noids from a 02. Also bolt assembly with voodoo tip. Green eclipse trigger helps pull out the green in the fade. Rips like it should now!
Um, gold, green purple fade splash annoed interceptor milled body with HSW worked guts. Super Lite #6 engraved on the bottom of body. On/off rocker switch on the bottom of the tray. Green led in the back of the tray.
HSW stud kit.
Green Eclipse blade trigger
SP voodoo bolt
SP green wood grips ( came on it, would have been the only colored grips in 2000).
