EGO11 Low fps/inconsistent

So I've had this gun for over a month and it shot super consistent and I would get about 280-290 with 2-2 and a half turns on the hpr and lpr 2 turns in...randomly 2 weeks ago after I cleaned the whole gun I got to the field and noticed I was shooting about 280 with the hpr almost backed out..and this weekend I only got to 270 with it backed out all the way and it was horribly inconsistent (273,258,265).

I've already tried messing with my lpr, shot the same flush....only mod it has is the cure4 pooty modded. Help!

Check your reg seal. The little black thing in the bottom. make sure it can "float"

Also if you have your solenoid at 2-2 try bumping the one on the right up and see if you can get a change in velocity. You really should wait till the marker is nice and broken in before changing the solenoid settings

Edit: in fact just turn both back to stock settings and if you want to adjust it move it one click at a time

I never messed with the solenoid...always been at 5-7

I checked the seal and it was stuck flush...i flipped it and now its floating and has the bounce to it..not sure what this will solve.

Refer to pages 50 and 51 of your manual. #008 NBR70 oring inside the reg adjuster top. Change it, lube it and you'll be back to normal

It's suposed to float. I really couldn't tell you what exactly it does. I had the same issue with my ego 11 and that was the culprit. You should have a spare one in the bag of spares as well!

Well today it seemed like i got a little more fps hit 300 almost all the way backed out, but it sell bounces around from 270 to 300.

I have the exact same problem on my ego11. Terrible consistancy and blends paint. Tried just about everything offered up in the pbnation archives. Just set my solenoid to 5 and 7 and will try to get my velocity past 270 fps.

Did you try the reg seal float thing posted above? Seemed to have bumped my fps up a bit, still not exactly back to normal though....and to above posters I've tried 5 or 6 different brands of paint and no reg cover

The only thing you changed was the bolt? What happens when you put the stock bolt back in?

I had the same problem with a 08 Ego once and I had actually compressed the LPR spring playing with the adjustment so much that it would no longer chrono. Once I sent in in and had PE check it they replaced my LPR spring and its worked great ever since .....just something for you to consider

soaggbrah when did you buy this gun? Is it new or used. Because i have one of the first Shiner 2s and I guess they milled out my reg, just a millimeter too big, and it would always leak out of the one hole on the regulator. It wouldn't right away but i would always have to put a fresh oring on it. I got the one part they said to put in but that never helped until, i talked with a badlands tech and they just said use a 1 size bigger oring on the reg piston. It hasn't happened again. I am not saying this is your problem but there could be something similar.

Yes, I tried two different reg seals. Changed all the reg orings. Ensured good paint to barrel match. Still won't get above 270 and loves to chew up paint.

same boat gun worked great all the sudden it wont crono passed 275 no matter what and chops paint tried just about everything...

The covers over the reg do not let air escape when the reg over pressurizes from what I'm told because they block the small hole on the side.
